HSGT: De Pere’s Lenn and Preble’s Haller win FRCC cross country titles

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — De Pere’s Grady Lenn and Green Bay Preble’s Camille Haller proved to be too fast at Thursday’s Fox River Classic Conference cross country meet at UW-Green Bay.

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — De Pere’s Grady Lenn and Green Bay Preble’s Camille Haller proved to be too fast at Thursday’s Fox River Classic Conference cross country meet at UW-Green Bay.

In the boys’ race, Lenn dominated from the start and won his 5,000-meter race in a time of 15 minutes, 23.3 seconds, while Jacob Nuthals of Preble was second with a time of 16:16.1.

In the girls’ race, Haller broke free from a pack of five runners and crossed the finish line with a time of 18:51.6, ahead of Pulaski’s Maggie Gerth, who had a time of 19:01.8.

In the team standings, De Pere placed first with 46 points, while Preble was second with 55.

In the girls’ race, Preble won with 58 points, while Bay Port was second with 70.

The runners next run Oct. 25 in a sectional once again at UW-Green Bay.
