DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – The top competitive pinball players throughout the Badger State are expected to be in De Pere this upcoming weekend for the Wisconsin State Pinball Championships.
According to a release, in 2025, more than 1,200 pinball players competed in nearly 400 sanctioned pinball tournaments throughout the state, earning points at each event, with only their top 20 tournament finishes going towards the official Wisconsin State rankings.

Out of those more than 1,200 competitive players mentioned, only the top 24-ranked players are invited to head to District 82 Pinball Arcade in De Pere to compete in the 2025 Wisconsin State Championships on Saturday, January 17.
Earning a spot in the State Championships requires an entire year of dedication and strong finishes across Wisconsin tournaments. This event represents the highest level of competitive pinball in the state and highlights the depth of talent we have here in Wisconsin.

The championship is said to feature over $6,800 in prize money. The first-place finisher will be awarded nearly $2,000 while also earning an invitation to compete in the North American Pinball Championship, where they will battle several others for more than $55,000.
On Sunday, January 18, District 82 Pinball Arcade will also host the 2025 Wisconsin Women’s State Pinball Championships, making it a full weekend dedicated to the top-ranked pinball competitors throughout the state.
